Process

  • Stakeholder Workshops: Conducted three on-site workshops in Nîmes to understand the laboratory's needs, challenges, and users' expectations.

  • Needs & Information Architecture: Consolidated the insights to define priorities, structure the content, and establish a clear information hierarchy.

  • Wireframing: Translated the findings into wireframes to shape the site's structure, navigation, and key user journeys.

  • Validation Workshops: Ran a second round of workshops with stakeholders to review, challenge, and refine the proposed structure.

  • Visual Direction: Developed several visual directions, then worked with the leadership team to select and validate the new brand expression.

  • UI Design: Designed and rolled out the selected visual direction across all key screens and touchpoints.

  • User Testing: Tested the new screens with users to identify friction points and refine the experience before development.

  • Development: Worked through the final implementation and handover to ensure consistency between design and the final product.

Outcome

  • A clearer digital experience: A more structured website that makes key information easier to find and understand.

  • A more intuitive user journey: Simplified navigation and clearer content hierarchy help users reach the information they need faster.

  • A stronger brand presence: A distinctive visual identity that reinforces the laboratory's expertise and creates a more recognizable digital presence.
